How to charge your Apple Watch with your iPhone
Apple’s Watch will soon be charging via an external power adapter, but what about the iPhone?
The answer is simple: it will be charging through your iPhone, but you won’t be able to change it until after the iPhone is connected to your Mac.
The Apple Watch will automatically charge the iPhone when you connect it to your computer, and it’s easy to configure the charging settings to use your iPhone instead.
To do so, you’ll need to go to the Apple Watch app, tap Settings, and tap on the Charging section.
Under the Apple watch section, tap on Settings > Power and get the following settings:Apple Watch: Apple Watch chargers will automatically detect the Apple iPhone when connected to the Mac, and charge using the Apple device when the iPhone charges.
If the iPhone does not charge, the Apple Watches chargers can be configured to charge with the iPhone.
Apple Watch Charger: The Apple Watch charger can be turned on by selecting it from the list of available options.
The iPhone charger will be charged using the iPhone’s USB port, and the Apple phone will automatically connect to the iPhone to charge.
Apple Watch Charging: The iPhone charger automatically detects the AppleWatch when connected and charges.
You can change the setting to charge the device with the Applewatch app.
