Apple Watch Sells Out First Day of Sales in 3 Weeks
Apple Watch sales have outpaced their sales for the last several years.
Apple Watch is now selling out of its first days of sales in 3 weeks.
According to Apple Watch Watch’s first day of sales for July 31st, the watch sold 4.1 million units worldwide.
“Apple Watch is not just a watch, it’s a brand,” CEO Tim Cook said at the start of the company’s first public quarterly earnings call.
The company is selling Apple Watch watches to its customers and is targeting a $200 price point in the US.
Apple’s biggest competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Watch, has sold out of all its retail stores in the first 24 hours.
The watch was also launched as a limited-time promotion on June 14th.
It only sells out of a limited number of stores in China and the UK, but sales have been steady in those markets, so it should have enough sales to keep up with its competitors.
